NaMo charisma works in Ajmer too

Ahead of last day of campaigning in poll-bound Rajasthan, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s charisma was omnipresent in Ajmer.

The BJP supporters from distant areas thronged Patel stadium in large numbers and cheered Modi during his 45-minute long speech at regular intervals.

Waving party flags a large number of enthusiastic supporters kept singing chants of ‘Modi’ during the speech amid thunderous applause.

On receiving the warm welcome from the audience, Modi in the very beginning set the tone of his speech while predicting a big victory for the BJP in Rajasthan polls.

Modi claimed that during his campaign meetings he has witnessed mass public support in favour of the BJP in the State. “I can say it with authority that the BJP would register a big victory in Rajasthan.” He said the people are angry with non-performing Congress Government in the State and if the BJP is voted to power the State would be rid of its ‘bemaru’ tag.

Sensing the anti-Congress mood of the large crowd, after some of them shouted anti-Congress slogans, Modi swiftly switched gears and launched a counter offensive.

Referring to several statements made by Sonia Gandhi during her recent public speeches, Modi said the Congress party leaders are making big speeches but they remain mum when it comes to the issue of price rise.

He said the Congress was “scared” that it could be reduced to irrelevance if people voted as one, overcoming social and religious barriers.

Among the audience a large number of youngsters, working professionals, students of nearby medical institutes were present with rural masses.

He credited the party supporters and angry voters, ready to vent their ire against the non-performing Ashok Gehlot Government.

Referring to Sonia Gandhi’s attack on the Opposition in the State Modi said, “I want to tell Madam Soniaji the Opposition was searching the presence of State Government in Rajasthan with the help of a telescopic device.”

He told voters, it is the Congress which has failed to fulfil poll promises in the State and at the Centre. Time has come to sever ties with the party and show it the exit gate from the political landscape.

Targeting Rahul Gandhi without uttering his name even once, Modi said,”Shehzada considers India as a beehive, we consider this country as our motherland. He mocks the poor, we consider the poor as god. He believes in divide and rule, we believe in unity of the country. He believes in dynasticism, we believe in nationalism. The Congress worked for the destruction of India for the last over 60 years. Now, we would not let it to do so any longer. Vote vehemently for the BJP. Vote for a Government under Vasundharaji,” he appealed.
