The audio tape of conversation allegedly between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and a nominated Telangana MlA Elvis Stephenson has become a source of acute embarrassment for the former with social networking sites making it subject of many spoofs.
Bits of the conversation specially some of the sentences uttered allegedly by Naidu have caught the fancy of netizens who have gone to town with their creative skills on various social media platforms including WhatsApp and Facebook.
Much to the chagrin of the techno savy and image conscious Telugu Desam leadership a group has launched a FB page “Manavalu briefed me” (Our people have briefed me), the opening sentence of the alleged conversation of Chandrababu recorded on the tape.
According to the audio tape Naidu allegedly told Stephenson, “our people have briefed me about everything”. The group of the page administrators have become more gung ho after the threats of Telugu Desam party to sue and lodge police against people lampooning Naidu.
