In a major shift to the molestation story of a young 23 year old burqa clad woman near the bus stop on Nagawara Main road in KG Halli police station limits in North Bengaluru, the Bengaluru police have arrested her brother-in-law and found entire drama was stage-managed by both of them to con the families.
According to the police Irshad Khan, a sales executive, said in his statement that he was in a relationship with his sister-in-law and wanted to marry her. However, realising his wife and other family members would object to it, he hatched a plan to get his sister-in-law tainted as a victim of sexual assault.
This, he hoped, would ensure the woman's prospective alliances would turn her down, and he could seek her hand in marriage, police quoted Khan as saying. The plan was finalised after Khan saw footage of the Kammanahalli molestation case.
