The ugly face of Pakistan has come to the fore in the wake of the Ayodhya verdict as a number of Ministers and politicians of that country as well as Asif Gafoor, Director General of Public Relations, the PR wing of the Pakistan armed forces, have reacted claiming Muslims have been shortchanged and that the judgment was a travesty of justice.
Sources here said Pakistan could be seeking to gauge the reactions here and may activate the sleeper cells of its terror proxies to vitiate the strong communal bonding in India. Through the statements, Pakistan is seeking to incite communal violence in India with the aid of its sleeper cells.
Gafoor took to his personal Twitter handle on Saturday claiming Pakistan is respecting other religions by opening Kartarpur corridor but due to the verdict “today all minorities of India should again realized that vision of our great leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah about Hindutva was absolutely right. They would now regret more convincingly to be part of India.”
Leader of Opposition in the Pakistan’s National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in a tweet claimed, “Indian SC judgement in land dispute of Babri Masjid represents travesty of justice. It is yet another sign of how saffron ideology is eating into the vitals of Indian society and entire secularism project is collapsing brick by brick. Indian Muslims are being pushed against the wall.”
Human Right Minister of Pakistan Shireen Mazari in another tweet said, “Indian SC judgement on Babri mosque out: Accepting that desecration of Mosque was ag the law & holding forth on control of inner & outer areas etc. the core of judgement is: Disputed land to be given to a Board of Trustees to build Ram Mandir. Muslims to be given alternate land!”
Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, an onion mafia, in a tweet claimed the verdict shameful, disgusting, illegal and immoral.”
Warlord and ally of terror groups Al Qaeda and Taliban Maulana Fazlur Rehman in a statement said, “ We condemn the Supreme Court’s verdict, it reflects narrow mindedness. India has failed in protecting its minorities.”
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi questioned the timing of the verdict and said a statement will be issued after examination of the verdict. Several other leaders expressed similar statements on the verdict.
However, the fact remains that Pakistan has been known to shelter a number of globally banned terrorists including Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden who was subsequently killed by the US troops in garrison town of Abottabad. Pakistan has also provided safe haven to UN-banned terrorists Lashkar-e-Tayyeba chief Hafiz Sayeed and Jaish-e-Mohammad boss Maulana Masood Azhar besides global terrorists Dawood Ibrahim and Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin. Pakistan army has also been known abduct and kill a number of Baloch people including by using helicopter gunships.
