The semi-nude body of a retired Delhi Development Authority (DDA) official was found under mysterious circumstances at his flat in east Delhi's Mayur Vihar phase III area, the police said on Tuesday. The police said no physical injuries were found on the body but a probe has been initiated to establish the exact cause of his death and materials recovered from his house have been sent to the lab.
The body of Kishan Chand was spotted by a neighbour when he had gone to meet him on Monday night. The neighbours told the police that they saw two women coming out of his flat on Sunday and since then he was not seen.
Chand had retired as a senior executive with the DDA, living alone in his flat for the last several years. His wife and two sons live somewhere in south Delhi. Also, the police collected the CCTV footages from the locality to ascertain the claims.
