Mystery shrouded the death of a Deputy Chief Engineer (DCE) of Railways and his wife, whose bodies were found lying in a pool of blood inside their house at Gorakhpur on early Friday morning.
Even as the police claimed that circumstantial evidences pointed towards a loot and murder, but the manner in which the couple were hacked pointed otherwise and the articles were robbed to derail the investigations about the ‘motive’.
As per reports, DCE, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava (45) and his wife Tulika Srivastava (40), who was the Principal of HP School, were found dead at their house in Vindyavasninagar area of Kotwali police station at Gorakhpur. The bodies bore injuries caused by sharp-edged weapons.
