Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Sambandh, a portal to monitor the implementation of the public procurement by Central Public Sector Enterprises, was launched on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for MSME Giriraj Singh appealed to the stakeholders to take advantage of the portal that would help in “ease of doing business” and ‘Make in India’ initiatives of the Government of India.
Highlighting that 80 per cent of jobs in industry is given by MSME with just 20 per cent of investment, the Minister said MSME is not given its due importance but added that the Narendra Modi Government is ready to help the MSEs in all possible ways.
