The bodies of a mother and son duo were discovered under highly mysterious circumstances in the JJ colony of Inderpuri area in South West Delhi. The incident came to light when the daughter returned to her house only to find her mother and brother lying still. The deceased have been identified as Phoolwati and her son Sunil (35).
A PCR call was received around 4pm about the incident after which a police team rushed to the spot. There were strangulation marks on the bodies and there were no sign of robbery in the house as everything was in place. Both of them lived alone in the house and Sunil was divorcee. “Prima facie it appears to be case of personal enmity as the house was not ransacked for robbery,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) Suman Goyal.
