After school authority did not take action against a music teacher who had allegedly molested an eight-year-old girl, parents of the victim, along with several other people, on Wednesday morning protested outside the school in Outer Delhi’s Rohini area.
The accused has been identified as Bernard, a 35-year-old music teacher at Maxfort School in Sector-23 of Rohini. The parents of the victim alleged that the incident took place in August last year and the same was repeated in the first week of April. The victim was initially scared but later confided to her parents that the music teacher touched her inappropriately on the pretext of teaching her some tunes.
Police said that minor girl was molested by the teacher on April 4, following which the parents lodged a complaint with the school. Though the principal was informed about the incident, she did not take any action. The parents then approached the police.
