In a new twist in the case of deputation of AIIMS ex-Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Sanjiv Chaturvedi to the Delhi Government, the DoPT has asked the Ministry of Environment to procure a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Union Health Ministry.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had written to Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar on February 16 urging him to urgently release Chaturvedi from his duties as the AIIMS Deputy Secretary so that he could join as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
