Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a Narmada water project pumping station in Kutch district on Monday during his two-day visit to poll-bound Gujarat.
Modi will also address a public meeting at lohida village near Bhachau town and attend an event at Kandla Port Trust (KPT) on the day.
The Prime Minister would have night halt at the State capital Gandhinagar and on Tuesday he would attend a programme of African Development Bank at Mahatma Mandir in the State capital.
According to Gujarat BJP spokesman Bharat Pandya on Prime Minister’s visit, Modi will hold an important meeting with the Gujarat BJP leaders. Pandya said that his visit to Bhachau was advanced by a day as he has to visit Kutch on Tuesday.
This would be Modi’s third visit to his poll-bound home-State in 2017. In fact, all three visits came in the past three months.
If sources have to be believed, the Prime Minister will visit Gujarat at least once in every month till the Assembly elections scheduled for December 2017.
Already Modi had visited Gujarat 11 times after he was elevated from Gujarat Chief Minister to the Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014.
