Unidentified miscreants struck terror in Bareilly by targeting about half a dozen houses and attacked the occupants before fleeing with a sizeable booty.
As per reports, half a dozen members of a criminal tribe barged into the house of Rinku at Bhuta locality late on Thursday night and assaulted Rinku’s mother Vimla Devi and wife Rekha Rani before looting ornaments and other costly belongings and fleeing the scene.
The gang members later entered into house of Makhanlal and looted ornaments of his wife Gaytari Devi besides cash and costly valuables. The gang continued their plundr till the wee hours and targeted three more houses before fleeing.
