The Delhi Police on Wednesday night arrested a tout who had helped the accused Uber driver Shiv Kumar Yadav procure the character certificate which he later submitted to the State Transport Authority in Burari to obtain the All India Tourist permit.
The accused tout has been identified as Javneet Singh. He works for TR Sahani Motors in Amar Colony. He had taken `2,000 from Yadav and had forged the character certificate on the seal of the Delhi Police and attested from Notary. The police officers have taken Yadav on two days police remand from his 14 days judicial custody.
