MCD hospitals face dearth of anti-rabies serum injections

Published on:

All hospitals and dispensaries of Muncipal Corporation of Delhi have run out of anti-rabies serum injections. The paucity of serums has hit the hospitals since the last few months while the corporation is sitting pretty over the matter.

The matter was taken up in the NDMC's Standing Committee meeting. After the discussion, the officials were later asked to re-obtain the injections in the hospitals.

Municipal Councillor Tilakram said the doctors refuse to treat patients citing the shortage of injections as the reason.
