Terming the roadshow by the Prime Minister Narendra in Varanasi on Sunday as ‘unauthorised’ the Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has demanded from the Election Commission (EC) to take appropriate action. “Roadshow by Narendra Modi without the prior of the EC is a serious matter and will certainly impact the free, fair and peaceful polling. EC must take immediate action so as to prevent the people occupying high constitutional office violating the model code of conduct in future’’, said Mayawati in a statement here on Sunday. Mayawati added “The Sarvasamaj is unitedly voting for the BSP for defeating the communal and casteist party like the BJP and the polling trend in last six phase of polling had been very encouraging for the party’’.
