Both of the abducted railway station in-charge and gang man were freed by their captors after some enquiry from them related to work, income as well as some officials of the railway station well after Sunday midnight, police officials said Monday.
According to police officials, station master of Kamalur railway station, located some 110 km away from Jagdalpur between Bhansi and Kirandul stations on KK line, Ranjit Kumar had just reached railway station as usual at 8 pm Sunday to do his night duty where gang man Ajay Kumar was also present. All of sudden, around 8 to 10 Maoist insurgents carrying arms and clad in rural attire reached railway station and asked both Ranjit Kumar and Ajay to follow them.
They took the two railway officials to nearby jungle of Bhansi area and reportedly enquired about operation timings of trains, income and about some officials and after that the insurgents freed them.
According to police officials, though the two railway employees have returned safely to their work, they are so much terrified that they are hardly ready to talk anything on this subject. The police are continuing their investigation further.
