A woman and her small daughter are struggling for their lives at the Kalahandi District Hospital (DHH) here in critical conditions after they were allegedly set ablaze by the woman’s husband and in-laws over a family dispute.
The victims, Puri Patel and her daughter Bijli, were first rushed to the Kesinga Primary Health Centre by locals where doctors referred them to the DHH after primary treatment.
The incident happened at Karla village under the Kesinga police station late on Sunday night. According to sources, Puri’s husband and her in-laws were torturing her and her daughter everyday.
