A man ended his life jumping before a train allegedly after killing his lady love in Agra on Sunday morning. According to reports, the cops of Sikandara police station got information of a suicide incident at railway tracks under Runakta police out post area around 7.30 am on Sunday.
When the cops reached the place, they got to know that a man had ended his life by jumping before a train. During investigation, the cops recovered an identity card which bore the name of car holder as Praveen Biswas of 24 Pargana in West Bengal. The cops also noticed a cell number written at the identity card. When the cops contacted the number, a man Sarwan Biswas of Agra picked the cell phone.
Subsequently he was called at the mortuary. Sarwan identified the body to be of his brother in law Praveen Biswas. He further told that Praveen used to live at a rented house in Sikandra locality in Agra. He further disclosed that Praveen had eloped with a woman, whom he identified as Monika of 24 Pargana in West Bengal, a fort night back.
On the information, a police team reached the house Parveen used to live on rent. The cops found the doors closed from inside and so they broke opened the doors.
The cops were stunned to see that Monika was lying dead with her throat was cut with a sharp edged weapon.
The blood stained sharp edged weapon was also recovered from beside Monika’s corpse. On the findings, the police claimed that the Praveen killed Monika on some issue and then he ended his life.
Both the bodies were sent to post-mortem house and a case was registered in this connection. The police are contacting the family of the victim woman.
