Major Taher Hussain Khan, who died in helicopter crash in Jammu & Kashmir, was laid to rest on Friday with full official honours at his native place near Hyderabad. His Namaz-e-Janaza or last prayers were offered at a mosque at Suraram village under Jeedimetla on the outskirts of Hyderabad and his mortal remains were buried in a local grave yard in the presence of his family, friends and local people. Earlier, officials from Army, Air Force, local police and civil administration laid wreaths and paid rich tributes to Major Khan. State Minister T Padma Rao were among the prominent people who visited his residence and paid tributes.
