In view of the heavy rush in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, there will be complete restriction on ‘sparsh darshan’ of Baba Vishwanath on each Monday during the Shrawan. And, the Maidagin-Godowlia route will be ‘no vehicle zone’ on Mondays during the auspicious month.
It is noteworthy that this year, the Shrawan will be of two months because of adhimaas and it will begin from July 4 and end on August 31. Eight Mondays will fall during the auspicious month.
The Divisional Commissioner (DC) Kaushal Raj Sharma held a meeting with the officers of concerned departments and temple authorities in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham late Wednesday afternoon and took stock of the arrangements to be made in the temple during the auspicious month in view of the security and darshan of the devotees.
The temple authorities apprised that there would be complete restriction on ‘sparsh darshan’ on each Monday and no ticket would be provided for the sugam darshan and any aarti except mangla aarti. There devotees will exit from the same gate from which they will enter and the devotees coming towards gang-dhwar will be given entrance from eastern gate of sanctum-sanctorum while the devotees coming towards Maidagin, Saraswati gate and Dhudhiraj Gali will enter from northern, southern and western gate respectively.
As the Shrawan is of two months because of adhimaas and so, the devotees across the country will reach the temple to have darshan of Baba Vishwanath, the DC said and directed that the officers would pay attention on the arrangements and facilities of devotees instead of engaging themselves in getting darshan to their dear and near.
The DC directed the authorities to write a letter to all the departments for no VIP darshan because no vehicle will be allowed to ply on the route from Maidagin to Godowlia.
The DC directed the health officers to hold emergency medical camps at four places in the temple premises.
There should be arrangement of e-rickshaw fir the elderly person and divyangjan, he added.
The Commissioner of Police (CP) Mutha Ashok Jain directed the police officers to erect barricading and make arrangements of PS System to facilitate the devotees. The DM S Rajalingam, ACP Santosh Kumar Singh, SOD Umesh Kumar Singh, ACEO Nikhilesh Mishra, SDM Shambhu Sharan were mainly present in the meeting.
