The clash between the 'Maha Vikas Aghadi' of Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP coalition Government and the BJP  reached a new bitter scale on Wednesday  with the  latter  demanding a CBI probe against the alleged conspiracies  hatched by what it called 'Maha Vinash Aghadi Government'  against the BJP State leaders.

The BJP alleged that the leaders of Maharashtra government are conspiring with police to frame its senior leaders in false cases with the active involvement of top Ministers and demanded a CBI probe into the matter.

Addressing a press conference here party spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla, while quoting a recording of alleged conversation of State’s special public prosecutor, said he was collaborating with some Ministers of the Maharashtra government and officials to framing senior BJP leaders including former state Chief  Minister Devendra Fadnavis in false cases.

The BJP leader quoted from the video recording "lasting 125 hours" where various fake cases, including those of drugs, are being planned to be "planted" against top state BJP leadership, he alleged.

Poonawalla alleged that state government is working to suppress the opposition voice. He also said that the State police was involved in alleged extortion and conspiracy as is evident from the recording.

" In the recording the special government prosecutor who is assigned the task of fixing BJP state leaders is saying that ex-Maharashtra Minister Anil Deshmukh had extorted minimum of Rs 250 crore in 2-3 months from builders...", said Poonawala.

The Poonawala said the prosecutor, however, also affirms that Deshmukh is right for (fixing) job. Deshmukh is currently in jail for money laundering case. The BJP spokesman also alleged that the recording also talks about a judge of a lower court   being fixed and quotes the price.
