Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao said here on Friday that he would discuss the infrastructure development issues of Mumbai with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He gave an assurance to this effect to the executive committee members of ‘Bombay First’, a city-based think tank working for the regeneration of Mumbai’s social and economic infrastructure, after they made a ‘Vision Mumbai 2052’ presentation before him at Raj Bhavan.
Through their presentation, the group briefed the Governor about the city’s current infrastructure status and challenges faced by it in the next decades. The vision document presents a grim scenario of population, work force, demand for housing in Mumbai in the year 2052.
