Union Minister and lok Sabha member KS Rao, one of the most vociferous opponents of the Telangana Bill, on Wednesday took his protest to the Rajya Sabha only to earn the wrath of the elders.

Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien said as Rao belonged to lok Sabha he should behave or leave the House.leader of Opposition Arun Jaitley invoked rules to say the Congress Minister, being member of lok Sabha, cannot disturb Rajya Sabha through protests. He pointed out that as per rules, Ministers are allowed to reply to debates and answer questions in Rajya Sabha but not create disturbances. Taking cognisance of this, Kurien asked the Minister to take his seat or withdraw from the House. Silenced, Rao, however, continued to remain in the Upper House.
