The lawyers of the Raipur District Court kept off from work on Monday to protest Saturday’s massacre by Maoist insurgents at Darbha Ghati in Bastar region of the State.
On the occasion, a condolence meeting was also held to pay tributes to the dead while demanding a probe by a High Court Judge and the CBI. President of Raipur Bar Association Ashish Kumar Soni said that even the Intelligence Bureau could not stop the incident from happening. Secretary of Raipur Bar Association Hitendra Tiwari said that the Government must take early steps to end the scourge of Naxalism.
