After the hunt for a bride which ended happily with his wedding to Aishwarya Rai, RJD chief lalu Prasad’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav is in search of another girl for his reel life. The Mahua MlA and former Health Minister Yadav is deeply involved in making a feature film, a kind of biopic named “Rudra: The Avatar”. He is looking for a girl to play the lead role against the hero of the film Tej Pratap.
Refusing to bring Aishwarya Rai, his wife of two months, on big screen, Yadav wants to look like Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) is searching for a new face to play heroine against him. He will prefer a Bihari girl and entire shooting will take place in Bihar, said Yadav and added that all preparations have been made and the proposed film will go on sets very soon. But he claimed the film will be released across the country by the end of the year.
The disclosure was made by lalu and Rabri Devi’s elder son himself by posting on social media and poster of the film which said “comming soon (sic)”. He will be the hero but there is no mention who will be other characters and who is producer and director. Yadav refused to divulge but hints are that he will be the producer and the financer. The poster showed him wearing sunglasses and tees.
Before the shooting starts, Yadav is spending quite good time in the gym and working out and shedding sweat apart from horse riding and swimming practice. After all he wants to look like Sanju. He admitted, “I want to look like Sanjay Dutt. He is my favourite actor since my childhood and I like his physical features and macho personality.” Without disclosing much about the film, he said the theme of the film revolves around social issues with a messageon how to improve things for a better world.
“lalu Prasad is my hero in real life as well as in politics and Narendra Modi is as good as villain,” Yadav chuckled and added he did not see any actor as his icon. He said Rudra was synonymous of lord Shiva, the protector, and in the film the newly married Yadav will take up challenges and bring reforms in the society. He is also an ardent devotee of lord Shiva and spends good time every day at Shiva temple.
Earlier too Yadav played a role in a Bhojpuri film titled ‘Apharan Udyog’ in 2016 when he was a Minister in Nitish Kumar Government but the film did not see light of the day.
Asked if he would take sanyas (retirement) from political life after working in film, Yadav said, “I am an all-rounder. I am multi-talented with the blessings of my parents. I will continue working in films and will remain in politics.”
Recently after some family feud, Yadav’s outburst came in open and he declared to quit politics because nobody was listening to him in the party. Taking a cue from that episode, the JD(U) teased him for struggling somewhere else after finding him powerless in his family’s party. JD(U) spokesman Neeraj Kumar said, “Tej Pratap is more talented still Tejashwi Prasad is promoted in the politics. He is neglected in the family and the party with all powers and attention to his younger brother. Poor Tej is now focussing on film acting.”
