PDA bulldozes boundary walls of unauthorised plotting: The Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) bulldozed boundary walls of unauthorised plotting in Dhoomanganj area by Zaid, once a close associate of Atiq Ahmad, who had later lodged a complaint against the gangster that he had thrashed him in Deoria jail.

An audio talk between Zaid and Atiq had gone viral in which the mafia don was asking Zaid not to go ahead in a land deal.

Zaid is son-in-law of Abid Pradhan, a sharpshooter of Atiq. He had acquired a huge plot of land in Dhoomanganj and was selling it by dividing it into small residential plots.

The PDA authorities took help of police officials, who provided heavy police force for initiating action against the unauthorised plotting. The officials reached the spot with JCB machines and bulldozed the boundary of plots being developed by Zaid.

Zaid is a criminal and a number of cases are registered against him in various police stations in Prayagraj and Kaushambi.

Besides razing to earth the boundary walls of Zaid’s plotting in Dhoomanganj, the PDA officials also demolished boundary of illegal plotting by Uday Yadav near Gayasuddinpur sewage treatment plant.

The PDA had demolished unauthorised plotting by Imran, brother-in-law of        Atiq Ahmad in Katahula on June 20.
