Even when the Director General of Police, Javeed Ahmed sounded an alert across the State after criminal tribe, popularly known as ‘Kutchcha Baniyan’, struck terror in Bulundshahr when they gang-raped three women including a minor during a road hold-up, unidentified members of the criminal tribe freely targeted over half a dozen families in two separate places of Agra and Amroha, late on Thursday night.
In both the cases, the miscreants barged into the houses, attacked the family members before decamping with the booty. Police claimed to have registered cases and launched a hunt for the culprits but till late Friday night, they failed to get any success. The injured were also admitted to hospitals.
