Even though it looks good at the surface, there is a serious rift brewing between ruling coalition partners in Karnataka over presentation of new Budget apart from other things which include appointment of chairman to the boards and corporations.
Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy who is captaining a very fragile coalition is facing a tough time handling sulking former Chief Minister and chairman of the coordination committee Siddaramaiah who is upset about Chief Ministers decision to present fresh budget at this juncture.
Kumaraswamy has been defending his decision to present a fresh budget and also announced the date for the same. However he said he would go ahead and present the budget in a view not to breach the privilege of the newly elected members.
He also said he would announce the modalities for wavier of farm loan which was promised by his party to the farm sector.
