KlO denies hand in Jalpaiguri blast

In what could confuse the administration further on Thursday’s Jalpaiguri bomb blast case, suspected terror group Kamptapuri liberation Organisation on Friday denied involvement in the blast saying the group was against killing its own people.

A Press release issued by Kailash Koch the general secretary of the KlO said, “Our organisation has no hand in the Jalpaiguri blast as the police are claiming. They are trying to spread canard against but thereality is we are not involved in the blast.”

Saying that the KlO would never want to annihilate “our own people the Kamptapuris on our own Martyrs’ Day” Koch said there were attempts being made to separate the organisation from the people.

Meanwhile, the police were still clueless regarding the motive of the Thursday’s blast that shook the North Bengal town killing five people and injuring 9 grievously. “The NIA sleuths are coming to investigate further into the incident,” a senior police officer said adding the police had found certain clues and “working on them.”
