Angry over no action being taken even after the magisterial enquiry report declared the action of the police inspector as disappropriate and misuse of power, the family members of Karan Pandey again met the Delhi Chief Minister on Friday demanding a case of murder to be registered soon.
Karan was shot dead by PCR inspector Rajnish Parmar after he was seen stunting with his friend in the New Delhi district area in July last year. Karan Pandey’s mother, Manju Pandey and his uncle Sunil Pandey met the Delhi Chief Minister on Friday afternoon demanding an FIR to be registered against the Inspector.
“The Delhi Chief Minister has assured us that a case would be registered before Monday and he would personally take up the issue with the lieutenant Governor. If the case is not registered then we will go on indefinite fast from Monday outside the residence of Congress President, Sonia Gandhi,” said Sunil Pandey. It has been more than six months now and we have not been delivered justice.
