Yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s brother Rambharat, who along with his security guards had allegedly kidnapped and physically tortured Nitin Tyagi, has been evading arrest.
Police said that their investigation is on and if he continues to evade arrest then police will start proceedings to attach his property. Meanwhile, the police have recorded the statement of Nitin Tyagi under Section 161.
During The Pioneer investigation, it has been revealed that the police have been scrutinising all the documents and preparing a watertight case against Rambharat. Sensing its seriousness, the police are acting cautiously.
Uttarakhand Police DGP BS Sidhu is personally supervising the case because the yoga guru has tried to politicise the matter by naming Congress high command in it.
