The Kerala High Court on Monday instructed the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate, who barred the media from reporting proceedings in open court, not to repeat such incidents that hurt the freedom of the Press. Chief Judicial Magistrate KS Ambika had on Monday morning asked the mediamen present in her court during the hearing of the bail applications of the Revenue officials named as accused in the sensational Kalamassery land-grab scam to leave the court.
