In view of upcoming Assembly polls in Gujarat, Aam Adami Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister is all set to address a public meeting in Gujarat at Surat on October 16th. AAP Gujarat unit got permission from Surat police commissioner to organise Kejriwal’s public meeting only after filing a petition in Gujarat HC. AAP had sought permission from Surat police commissioner around couple of months back for the meeting, but the party had to approach HC as the authority didn’t respond, said AAP media co-ordinator Harshil Nayak. He further said that even a party delegation even met Governor OP Kohli on September 6 and requested him to intervene, but there was no response from Gujarat police.
