While a section of the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) seems to be spirited about forming an alliance with the new political sensation — Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) — the Babulal Marandi-led party did not disclose its cards on taking Arvind Kejriwal and Co. on board.
The party in their crusade to keep UPA (United Progressive Alliance) and NDA (National Democratic Alliance) away from wresting control of power at the Centre is indicating to go alone, as of now.
Talks of a possible alliance have been doing rounds after JVM’s Jamshedpur MP and a close friend of Arvind Kejriwal, Dr Ajay Kumar, mooted the idea of forming an alliance with the AAP. Kumar has been reportedly negotiating with the AAP and is likely to meet Kejriwal on January 12 to explore the possibilities of an alliance.
