Claiming that Modi wave has started sweeping the entire country, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Independent lok Sabha member Kalyan Singh said that Janata Dal (United) will have to suffer adversely for snapping ties with BJP in Bihar.
“Modi wave has started sweeping across the entire country and the political parties have now started admitting it,’’ he said while talking to reporters in Etah on Sunday.
Singh claimed that the next lok Sabha elections would be held on the issue of Muslim appeasement and nationalism.“Narendra Modi is the need of the country and people have started supporting his agenda,’’ he added.
He said that people of Bihar had given the JD(U)-BJP coalition mandate for five years but snapping ties by the JD(U) would not be tolerated by the people. Talking about the fate of BJP in Bihar, he said that the parting of JD(U) would be a boon for the BJP as now they can win 24 lS seats whereas JD(U) will have to stick to just 8 from 20 seats it had won last time.
