Kumaraswamy of JD(S), with less seats, becoming Chief Minister of Karnataka is what make sense in Andhra Pradesh politics. Contrary to TDP happiness, the JD(S) experiment has doubled the hopes of Kapu community of the State to acquire the Chief Minister post in 2019 by hook or by crook.
Kapu is one of the prominent politically aspirant castes in Andhra Pradesh along with Kamma and Reddy. Cine Actor turned politician, Pawan Kalyan, who belongs to Kapu caste, is trying hard to improve his challenge to the post of Chief Minister only. “After learning every aspect, I will become Chief Minister”, he announced publicly in his recent meeting in Visakhapatnam District amidst cheers of followers.
Though he started his political career by launching “Jana Sena” in 2014, from Sunday, finally Pawan Kalyan started his first 45 days of “Porata Yatra” from Uttarandhra Districts Srikakulam, Vizayanagaram and Visakhapatnam. He would like to tour all Assembly Constituencies of these three districts. Though Jana Sena is contesting 175 seats, Pawan Kalyan mainly focused on 40-50 seats to win as JD(S) did. Pawan Kalyan wants to play a King Maker role in post 2019 elections.
Pawan Kalyan and Kapu caste’s strong desire of becoming Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2019 has started creating internal differences in unseen alliance of BJP, YSRCP and Jana Sena. YSRCP Chief, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is a strong contender for Chief Minister post, has already crossed his 2000 KMs of foot walk (Pada Yatra).
Jagan, who is in West Godavari district, has planned to complete his Yatra in Srikakulam district from where Pawan Kalyan started his Yatra opposite to YSRCP programme. Both Jagan and Pawan are planned and started Yatra for Chief Minister post by dethroning the present Chief Minister Chandra Babu.
Both young leaders are in great belief in defeating Telugu Desam on their own from power and the same claims are already started by their political marketing managers.
The claim of Pawan teams and Kapu groups escalated since two days after Yeddyurappa resignation and JD(S) gaining CM Chair. Social Media groups of Pawan Kalyan and Kapu Caste are in advance stage than YSRCP wings in silent publicity.
Pawan Kalyan teams are almost following the foot steps and strategies of Modi who successfully utilised social media platforms to improve his candidature for Prime Minister’s post than Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Sushma Swaraj and others.
The increased activism of Pawan Kalyan for Chief Minister post is irking Jagan and his team internally. Jagan and Pawan were critical on each other until YSRCP MPs resignation. After Parliament’s sine die, both are silent on each other and both are targeting Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and his son Nara lokesh and trying hard to stamp them as corrupt.
