In another major bureaucratic reshuffle in the Capital, JB Singh, a 2000 batch officer will be new commissioner of Excise, Entertainment and luxury tax department. He has replaced AK Singh, a 1996 batch officer, who has been asked to report Service Department. Singh was holding the post for the past two and half year. He will be retired on January 31, this year. Secretary (GAD) AB Shukla has been transferred to Delhi State Subordinate Service Board (DSSSB). The 90 batch IAS officer, Jitendra Narayan has been posted as labour commissioner-cum-secretary while the 99 batch IAS officer who was serving as the labour Commissioner-cum-secretary has been posted as director agriculture.
The 84 batch IAS officer, SP Singh who holds the charge as the member of OBC Commission has been handed over an additional charge of Delhi Minority Commission and the minority commission posted Rinku Ghugga has been transferred as Secretary Art and Culture and Director of Arrangement of DCHFC.
