Pictures of State Health Minister holding collar of a lady doctor inside medical room in lakhanpur toll plaza has gone viral here in Jammu & Kashmir.
The incident, which is not the first of its kind, has shocked the doctors community in the State and has equally enraged general public.
To shame the Health and Medical Education Minister lal Singh, known for using foul language and misbehaving with the doctors during surprise inspections, several junior doctors and their associations have uploaded the picture on the social networking sites.
The same went viral on Monday evening and attracted lot of traffic and severe criticism from the masses.
A senior doctor from Kashmir while commenting on the incident wrote in frustration, “I wonder how long will this disgraceful behaviour be tolerated, look at the frightened faces. How can he touch her collar and this is the second episode only in few days time when he was seen pulling on apron of another employee. Isn’t it time to demand his removal”.
The public relations officer of the Minister is yet to issue a statement clarifying under what circumstances a Cabinet Minister was provoked to hold the collar of a lady doctor in front of senior police and State Government officers.
