The CBI has arrested four persons, including a Jammu and Kashmir police assistant Sub-Inspector (SI) and a CRPF constable, in connection with SI recruitment scam in the Union Territory.
The CBI has arrested Ashok Kumar, ASI, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Surender Singh, Constable, CRPF, and two private individuals -- Pradeep Kumar, packing in-charge at the printing press where papers were getting printed and one Bajinder Singh.
All the accused were summoned to Jammu where they were arrested and produced before a special court after questioning, officials said.
The CBI probe in the scam has revealed that `20-30 lakh were allegedly paid by some aspirants to get advance copies of the papers, they
said.
