Security forces on Monday busted a suspected terrorist hideout inside a natural cave in a remote forested area of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, recovering nine grenade launcher rounds and 30 rounds of ammunition, officials said.
The hideout was discovered during a search operation by troops of the 60 Rashtriya Rifles in the Panch Gabbar area, following intelligence inputs about the movement of unidentified suspects, they said.
No contact was established with the suspects during the operation, officials said.
The forces recovered nine Multiple Grenade Launcher (MGL) rounds, an AK magazine and 30 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition described by officials as pistol ammunition.
