Pakistan on Friday lodged a protest with India over alleged ceasefire violation in Pandu Sector along the loC that killed a soldier and asked India to restrain its security forces on the border.
Pakistan's Foreign Office in a statement alleged that "unprovoked firing and mortar shelling by the Indian forces" in Pandu Sector killed a soldier yesterday."The Government of Pakistan on Friday lodged protest with the Government of India through diplomatic channels," it said.
