ISIS terrorists warn of killing RSS men

Surveillance and monitoring by police and intelligence agencies have been beefed up in Chennai and other cities in Tamil Nadu following a receipt of posters allegedly sent by ISIS terrorists with a warning that  at least ten of the "RSS terrorists" identified by the organisation would be killed soon.

The office of the director general of police and Chennai Press Club received posters on Wednesday by post warning about an impending attack by ISIS, a dreaded extremist organisation which has terrorised national governments in West Asia and other parts of the world. "Identified 50 active RSS terrorists in Chennai. We swear to shoot at least 10 of them and repeat Kovai blasts by April 24. ISIS", said the posters.  Kovai blast is a reference to the Coimbatore blasts perpetrated by extremists on February 14, 1998 which claimed the lives of 60 BJP activists.

The blasts took place in the venue where the BJP leader lK Advani was to address an election meeting. Since his motorcade was held up in traffic block, Advani had a providential escape on that day.

"This is a serious issue as ISIS has a presence in Tamil Nadu. last year we came across a group of young men expressing solidarity with the ISIS by wearing black T-shirts with the name ISIS embossed on it and circulating the picture in social media," said a senior intelligence officer.
