In a development that has kicked off massive celebrations in the households of India’s leading industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Ajay Piramal, their children Isha and Anand have been blessed with twins—a boy and girl.
In a joint announcement made here on Sunday, proud grandparents Nita and Mukesh Ambani, and Swati and Ajay Piramal said: ”We are delighted to share that our children Isha and Anand have been blessed by the Almighty with twins on November 19 (Saturday)”.
“Isha and the babies, baby girl Aadiya and baby boy Krishna are doing well,” the excited grandparents said.
“We seek your blessings and good wishes for Aadiya, Krishna, Isha and Anand in this most important phase of their life,” the two families said.
It may be recalled that scions of two top business conglomerates – Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal -- had entered into a wedlock on December 12, 2018. Several prominent personalities from various walks of life, including former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Pranab Mukherjee, business tycoons, film stars, sports celebrities had turned out for the “roya” wedding.
Apart from Hillary Clinton and Pranab Mukherjee,Hillary Clinton, Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Maneka Gandhi, then chief ministers of Gujarat and Maharashtra Vijay Rupani, Devendra Fadnavis, film personalities Amitabh Bachchan, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikant and Aamir Khan had already arrived at the wedding venue.
Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya, Karan Johar, Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran, SRK’s wife Gauri, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and prominent persons from business and corporate world like Sanjiv Goenka, K V Kamath, Deepak Parekh, Sashi and Anshuman Ruia were among those who had made it to the wedding.
