Deepak Verma flags off Tata Tigor E-vehicles
New Delhi: Rajya Sabha Secretary General Desh Deepak Verma on Friday flagged off two units of Tata Tigor E-vehicle in Parliament complex recently. The vehicles have been hired by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat for providing transport facility to Rajya Sabha MPs. Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu inspected the E-vehicles after they were flagged off.
‘PM Best Chowkidar' award idea mooted
New Delhi: Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy on Friday mooted the idea of instituting ‘PM Best Chowkidar' Award. Speaking at the 'Security Leadership Summit 2019' organised by the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI), Reddy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the importance of 'chowkidars' in nation-building process and started the campaign 'Mein Bhi Chowkidar' which clicked among the masses.
