Innovative campaign for UP elections!

Some politicians who had planned to use black money for campaigning for upcoming UP Assembly elections, came up with an innovative way to stop their election funds from turning into ‘scrap’ after PM Narendra Modi’s demonetization order on Tuesday night.

A prominent leader of Eastern UP town and his poll managers distributed anything from `5,000 to `15,000 per family in his constituency in order to lure voters ahead of the elections.

“We collected this money for you. But since Narendra Modi wanted that you should not be benefited out of it, he ended circulation of `500 and `1000 notes. But we are still handing the amount you in advance”, the managers told the public after advising that they can easily change it with new currency after the bank and postoffices started to implement Modi’s decision from Thursday morning onwards.

Interestingly the villagers, who were upset with Modi for not fulfilling his promise of depositing `15 lakh of black money into their account after his party was voted to power in last Parliament elections, were finally happy as Modi’s demonetisation decision made them rich at least by a few thousand rupees.

Two more leaders of other parties who will also contest in Eastern UP, adopted a similar modus operandi to make better use of their black money before it turns into `scrap’. learning of this ‘innovative’ campaign over a dozen other aspirants also packed their bag and left for their respective constituencies to distribute the `black money.’
