Alleging increase in administrative anarchy in Uttar Pradesh, State BJP unit said recovery of incriminating materials inside jails shows that even prison inmates are enjoying political patronage.
“Recovery of maps of Rashtrapati Bhawan, BSF posts and other high security places, and pen drives from an inmate in Moradabad jail reflects the prevailing lawlessness in the State,” BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said on Monday.
He said recovery of many cell phones, SIM cards, drugs and micro-chips from inside prisons during Sunday’s raid in Moradabad jail shows that authorities are hand in gloves with criminals.
