A day before the BJP Government completes six months in office, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released White Paper’ on the misrule and corruption of the previous Governments in the State in last 15 years saying he has inherited a ‘dead’ legacy.
“The corruption and the misrule of the BSP and SP Governments had pushed the State to backwardness. In order to get political mileage previous Government gave a slogan of minority welfare but it did nothing for the community. The BSP Government misused Government money in the name of construction of monuments,” Yogi said while addressing reporters here on Monday.
Interestingly, CM did not elaborate on the achievements of his Government. “Today I am releasing this white paper to let you people know about the dead legacy I have inherited from the previous Government,” he said when reporters asked him as why he has released White paper of performance of previous Government.
“I will come back to you with achievements within a day or two,” he said.
The White Paper talks about financial health of State from 2003-04 to 2016-17 — the period ruled by the BSP and the SP but silent on 2010-12 regime when the BJP was in power.
