Expressing unhappiness over the Adarsh housing society scam probe and subsequent indictment of bureaucrats in the judicial commission report, an indicted officer has written to the Maharashtra Government over the issue.
“I have written a letter to Maharashtra Government. Some other officers who have been indicted have also written letters. I cannot reveal contents of the letter,” the officer said.
He said he wrote the letter two-three days ago. Confirming that he received the letter, Chief Secretary JS Saharia said some bureaucrats named in the report have also written to the Government.
“I cannot reveal what is in the letter. We will examine the letter,” Saharia said. Asked if the matter would be taken up with CM Prithviraj Chavan, he replied in the affirmative.
