Could any Indian imagine a train faster than flight in the country! Reaching destination in lesser time much before aeroplane passenger! Faster than Bullet Trains of Japanese and Chinese. Now, it’s turn of the Americans to make difference.
Beyond doubts, US Electric Car giant Tesla’s Eion Musk’s brainchild “Hyperloop One” Company based at los Angles of California came forward to give its yet to commercialise latest hyperloop transportation system technology to the new City Amaravati, the Capital of Andhra Pradesh. Hyperloop company is developing 500 kmph fastest train system near las Vegas. On Wednesday, Hyperloop Company representatives put their proposals before Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu.
They proposed, ‘a Hyperloop train between Amaravati — Visakhapatnam’ in 23 minutes and ‘a train between Amaravati— Tirupathi’ in 25 minutes, and, also further promised trains to Banglore, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad etc. Shocked and surprised Naidu directed CRDA officials to study the proposal of Hyperloop One company deeply and in detail.
The US Company also proposed to set up it’s research and development centre in Amaravati and ready to ink on Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Andra Pradesh. In his recent US tour, Naidu met Tesla Top Management and discussed many issues with them. Following his invitation, Tesla sister company landed here with hyperloop transportation technology.
And, few five star hotel groups such as Raddison, Taj, leela, GRT, Novotel came forward to establish their outfits in Amaravati, officers informed Chief Minister.
The State Government allotted 500 acres to Star Hotels in capital area. Construction of City Square in Vijayawada with $ 300 Bln, was also discussed in the meeting.
