India slams Pak for Kashmir Solidarity Day

Published on:

In a terse response to Pakistan over ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ in Islamabad on Thursday, India has said that the country should focus on solving their problems at hand instead of wrongly aspiring for Kashmir.

Kashmir Solidarity Day is annually observed in Pakistan with rallies and speeches and a public holiday on February 5. It is to express solidarity with people of J&K, which Pakistan believes needs to be liberated from India.

Reacting sharply to statements made by Pakistani leaders in the rally and speeches by various groups including banned terrorist outfit Jamad-ud-Daawa (JuD), India termed the activities by Pakistani leaders and “unsavoury elements” as a “futile quest for territorial aggrandisement” to mark so called ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ and said it was high time it should focus on its problems
